We are now in the midst of a paradigm shift, a time of increasing awareness
for the need to move from a disconnected and dualistic world view based
on the separation of humans from the natural world and all beings who live
upon it, to an understanding of the true depth and interconnectedness of
life.
We are the Earth.
Each one of us is deeply connected to the other and to every living system on this planet. To understand that opens us up to the recognition of the self in the other, it teaches us compassion, reminding us that as we care for one another and this planet, we ultimately care for ourselves.
